Venison Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. tenderized venison
    flour (as needed)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    bacon drippings or oil
Preparation
    Cut
    steak
    into
    serving
    pieces.
    Dredge
    in
    flour, seasoned with salt and pepper.
    Heat bacon drippings or oil in a skillet and brown
    meat.
    Remove
    meat; pour off excess fat. Stir 2 tablespoons flour into drippings.
    When flour is brown, stir in enough milk to make gravy.\tDissolve soup mix in 1 cup water and add to
    skillet.
    Return
    meat
    to\tpan.
    Cover
    and simmer 30 minutes over low heat.
