Key Lime Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, separated at room temperature
    1/3 c. fresh lime juice
    1 (4 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1/4 tsp. salt to egg whites
Preparation
    In large mixer bowl, beat egg whites and salt.
    Set aside.
    In another mixer bowl, beat egg yolks, lime juice and condensed milk. Add 2 to 3 drops of green food coloring, if desired.
    Fold into beaten egg whites and pour into graham cracker crust; bake 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool.
    Beat 1 cup heavy whipping cream until stiff.
    Add 3 tablespoons sugar.
    Top pie and garnish with fresh lime slices and mint leaves.
