Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 bottle red food color
2 eggs
2 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. buttermilk
3 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Mix together shortening, sugar, food coloring and eggs.
Mix flour, salt, cocoa, buttermilk and vanilla and add to mixture. Stir together soda and vinegar and fold in cake batter (do not beat).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until done.
