Crisp Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. butter (2 sticks)
    1 c. cooking oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond
    1 egg
    1 c. quick cooking oats
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. crushed cornflakes
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 Tbsp. sour milk
    1 tsp. soda (stir into milk)
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
    Make into balls and put on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Dip bottom of glass in sugar and press cookie flat.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown (10 to 12 minutes).
    Makes 8 dozen cookies.
