Apricot Liqueur - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. vodka
    1 c. sugar
    3 (8 oz. each) pkg. dried apricots
Preparation
    In a large jar, combine all ingredients.
    Cover and let stand 6 weeks, stirring every 2 weeks.
    Remove apricots.
    Strain liqueur several times through double thickness of cheesecloth.
    Pour into decanter or bottle and cap.
    Save the liqueur-soaked apricots for dipping in chocolate!
