Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1 c. light cream
    1/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, combine sugars, syrup and cream.
    Cook over medium heat; stir constantly until mixture comes to boiling, boil without stirring until 236\u00b0 on candy thermometer or until soft ball stage when dropped into cold water.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter, but don't stir.
    Cool to 110\u00b0 or bottom of pan is lukewarm.
    Add vanilla.
    Beat with wooden spoon until frosting is creamy and barely holds its shape.
    Set frosting pan in pan of hot water to keep from hardening before all used.
