Dark Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. raisins
2 c. sugar
1 c. spry
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. cold water
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. rum extract
2 (10 oz.) jars maraschino
cherries, cut in half
1 lb. walnuts, chopped
3 eggs
Preparation
-
Boil first 5 ingredients for 3 minutes.
Cool.
Add to dry ingredients.
Fold in cherries and nuts.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0 in a large greased tube pan.
