Ruby'S Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. self-rising flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    7 Tbsp. Crisco shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar and baking powder together.
    Cut shortening into flour mixture.
    Mix in buttermilk with a fork until just moistened.
    Form a large ball.
    Put on a floured surface and knead a few times.
    Roll out about 3/4 inch biscuit center.
    Place on a greased baking sheet with sides of biscuits touching.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 about 15 minutes, until brown.
