Swedish Cod Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large potatoes
1 large onion, sliced
1/4 c. margarine or butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 small bay leaf
1 c. hot water
3 c. milk
1 (1 lb.) cod fillet (good), cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
2 tsp. minced fresh dill or 2 tsp. dried dill weed
Preparation

In Dutch oven over medium heat, cook spuds and onion in butter, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes.
Stir in salt, pepper, bay leaf and water.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Add milk and fish; bring just to boil.
Reduce heat and cover.
Simmer very gently for 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. Sprinkle with dill weed (optional).
