Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. oil (Crisco)
3 eggs, lightly beaten
16 oz. can pumpkin (not pie filling)
3 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. salt
raisins and nuts, if desired
Preparation

Blend sugar and oil well.
Beat in eggs one at a time.
Add pumpkin, sift dry ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture; beat on low, and add raisins and nuts, if desired.
Grease pans; bake about 1 hour, at 350\u00b0.
Makes four 6 x 3 1/2 x 2-inch or two 9 x 5 x 2 3/4-inch loaves.
