Lazy-Daisy Cake(Shortcake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Heat milk and butter.
Set aside.
Beat eggs, then add sugar. Mix flour and baking powder, separately.
Add flour mixture to egg mixture alternately with hot milk, then add vanilla.
Bake in a flat pan (8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch) for 30 minutes at 375\u00b0 (moderate oven).
