Jim'S Mocha Oreo Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 Oreo cookies, crushed
    1/3 c. butter, melted
    1/2 gal. coffee ice cream
    3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 (6 oz.) cans evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. heavy cream
    1 1/2 oz. Kahlua liqueur or strong coffee
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    pinch of salt
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine cookie crumbs and butter and press gently into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Refrigerate.
    When chilled, spoon on softened ice cream and freeze.
    Melt chocolate and 2 tablespoons butter. Add sugar, salt and milk. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring until thickened.
    (Be careful, it burns easily.)
    Remove from heat and add vanilla. Chill and spread on top of ice cream. Freeze.
    Whip the cream. Add Kahlua (or coffee) and powdered sugar. Spread over chocolate layer and sprinkle with nuts.
    Freeze again. Cut in squares to serve.
