Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. apple pie spice
1/8 tsp. salt
6 c. thinly sliced, pared, tart apples
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
pastry for a 9-inch two-crust pie
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Stir sugar, flour, spice and salt together.
Mix lightly with the apples.
Turn into pastry lined pan.
Dot with butter or margarine.
Weave lattice on top crust; seal and flute the edges.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
Remove from the oven; sprinkle with the cheese.
