Pea Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. peas
    4 chopped onions
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 celery stalk, diced
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 qt. water
    1 ham bone
Preparation
    Soak whole peas overnight; drain in morning.
    Simmer all ingredients together for 2 to 3 hours in a covered pan.
    Stir occasionally.
