Strawberries Chantilly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    1/2 c. plus 4 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp. rum
    2 egg whites
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Cut cleaned berries in half and cover with powdered sugar (1/2 cup) and rum.
    Chill 30 minutes.
    Whisk egg whites until stiff, adding 4 tablespoons powdered sugar.
    Fold in chilled berries. Serve in sherbet glasses.
    Top with whipped cream.
