Cherry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. cherries
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients and put in buttered 9 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle cherries over batter.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over cherries.
    Pour boiling water over all.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
