Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    1 medium red pepper, chopped fine
    1 clove garlic, minced
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    16 oz. can tomatoes, cut up with juice
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    16 oz. can dark red kidney beans
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and drain well.
    Stir in everything else. Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6 bowls.
