Sugar And Spice Donuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
    1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 egg, beaten
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    cooking oil
    cinnamon sugar
Preparation
    Combine flours, soda, baking powder, salt and nutmeg in bowl. Beat together buttermilk, egg sugar; add this to the first mixture along with melted butter; mixing until a soft dough forms.
    Turn out onto a floured surface; knead lightly.
    Pat and roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness.
    Cut with floured cutter.
    Fry donuts and holes in hot oil, 375 degrees, turning once and frying 3 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels.
    While hot, dip in the cinnamon sugar.
