Pasta And Sauteed Garlic - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    desired amount of cooked spaghetti (at least 1/2 lb.)
    1/2 bulb garlic
    1/3 c. olive oil (other oils may be substituted)
    1 can minced clams (optional)
    Parmesan cheese
    desired amount of chopped fresh parsley or pinch of dried parsley
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Peel and thinly slice garlic.
    Cook spaghetti al dente; drain. Saute garlic in olive oil until slightly golden.
    Immediately stir into spaghetti.
    Add Parmesan, salt and pepper to taste.
