Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. Karo syrup (dark)
1/4 c. vinegar
1 pt. raw peanuts
1 1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Boil first 3 ingredients until strings form a hard ball.
Add raw peanuts with skins.
Cook 10 to 15 minutes on medium heat. Stir.
Take off heat and add, at once, the soda and salt.
Spread on buttered foil paper.
When cool, break in pieces.
