Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cucumbers
    1 clove garlic
    1 medium onion
    1 c. cold water
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Pare cucumbers.
    Slice thin.
    Salt them and let stand for 1 hour.
    Place liquids in a bowl; dissolve the sugar.
    Slice the onions very thin and add finely mashed garlic.
    Squeeze out cucumbers from salt; mix with liquids, if desired.
    Add 2 tablespoons sour cream.
    Sprinkle with black pepper and paprika. Chill.
