Chicken Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken (fryer)
1 (9-inch) skillet of day old cornbread, crumbled
1 Tbsp. ground sage or to taste
1 c. celery, chopped fine
3/4 c. onions, chopped fine
5 slices loaf bread (left out overnight to dry), crumbled
1 stick margarine
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth or cream of chicken soup
Preparation

Stew chicken in about 1 1/2-quarts water.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Chicken is done when tender and pulling away from bone. Take chicken out of water it was cooked in and set aside to cool. When chicken is cool enough to touch, remove from bones.
In the water chicken was cooked in, add chicken broth or cream of chicken soup and margarine.
Mix all ingredients together.
Put in baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 minutes.
