Beets With Brown Sugar And Pineapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced beets, drained
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan with pineapple chunks and juice.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and comes to a boil.
    Add margarine, lemon juice and beets.
    Continue to cook for 5 minutes more or until beets are heated through.
    Serves 5.
