Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 pkg. dry yeast
3 Tbsp. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Blend together flour, shortening, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt
until crumbly.
Mix together the dry yeast and warm water until dissolved.
Let stand for 5 minutes. Add to flour mixture.
Add buttermilk; mix well.
Roll or pat out on floured surface to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut with biscuit cutter or small glass.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Dough may be refrigerated until needed up to 2 weeks.
