Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 lb. butter
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 pt. evaporated milk
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 lb. raisins
    nuts, candied fruit (optional)
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs for 5 minutes.
    Add vanilla, flour, baking powder and canned milk.
    Add raisins.
    Add nuts and candied fruit if desired.
    Pour into 3 greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 approximately 2 1/4 to to 2 1/2 hours.
