Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 med. banana
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
3 eggs
2 c. self rising flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Mix bananas with baking soda in mixing bowl, let stand for several min. Combine sugar, shortening, and eggs in mixing bowl. Beat until smooth. Add banana mixture, flour and salt, alternating. Mix well after each addition. Fold in pecans. Spoon into a greased and flour loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove to cool.
