Mom And Dad'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 large bell pepper, chopped
    garlic powder to taste
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    3 to 5 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 small can tomato sauce
    2 cans pinto beans
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    In a larger saucepan brown ground beef; add onion and bell pepper.
    Saute until limp.
    Add chili powder and mix well.
    Add remaining spices, tomato sauce, tomato paste and 1 cup water.
    Add canned beans or cooked beans and simmer for 2 to 3 hours.
    Ladle off any excess grease at top.
    Serve with crackers or jalapeno cornbread.
