Cheese Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli
    1 pt. half and half
    2 c. water
    1 lb. pasteurized processed cheese
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. cornstarch, mixed with 1 c. cold water
Preparation
    Steam broccoli and onion until tender.
    Remove from heat and chop.
    Place half and half, water and bouillon cube in top of double boiler.
    Add cheese, salt and pepper; heat until all cheese melts.
    Add broccoli.
    Mix together cornstarch and water in small bowl.
    Stir into the cheese mixture in the double boiler and heat over simmering water until the soup thickens.
