Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. margarine
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 c. oats
    1 tsp. spices
Preparation
    Heat
    oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat together margarine and sugars until light
    and\tfluffy.
    Beat
    in egg and vanilla.
    Combine flour
    and spice;
    add
    to
    margarine mixture.
    Stir in oats. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake for 8 to 10
    minutes for
    chewy
    cookie,
    10
    to
    11 minutes for crisp cookie.\tCool for 1 minute on cookie sheet before removing to wire rack.\tYield: 4 1/2 dozen.
