Delicious Homemade Bread From Scotland - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. whole meal flour
    1 1/2 lb. stony plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 oz. margarine or lard
    1 1/2 pt. warm water
    2 (1 oz.) pkg. yeast
    2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix flours, salt and margarine or lard in warm bowl.
    Then mix last 3 ingredients in container.
    Leave to rise.
    Mix flour with yeast.
    Knead for 10 minutes.
    Leave to rise double in size. Knead lightly.
