Fettucine Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 garlic clove, minced
    3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
    1/2 c. half and half
    6 oz. fettucine, cooked
Preparation
    Melt butter over medium-low heat.
    Stir in garlic and heat briefly.
    Gradually add the cheese, stirring constantly with a wire whisk.
    After the cheese is melted, very slowly add the half and half, continuing to stir with the wire whisk.
    When the sauce is creamy and smooth, combine with the cooked fettucine.
