Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, chopped fine
    1 head cauliflower, chopped fine
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    frozen peas
    2 c. salad dressing
    1/2 c. sugar
    cheese to cover top of salad
Preparation
    Layer chopped vegetables in bowl. Combine salad dressing, sugar and a little vinegar. Spread over top and sprinkle with cheese. Cover and put in refrigerator overnight. Toss just before serving.
