Chicken With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. rice (dry)
    1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix
    1 chicken, cut up
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 soup can water
Preparation
    Place rice and soup mix in the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Salt chicken lightly and put in a single layer on top of rice.
    Mix chicken soup with water.
    Pour over all and bake for 2 hours at 325\u00b0.
    Cover with foil and uncover the last 1/2 hour to brown slightly.
    More water may be added, if needed.
