Mom'S Party Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck beef
    1 large onion
    crushed saltine crackers
    1 egg
    2 cans tomato sauce
    1 (8 oz.) jar peach preserves
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients.
    Spoon into balls.
    Brown in skillet; drain thoroughly.
    Add tomato sauce and preserves.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
    Serve with cracker and cheese on toothpicks.
