Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 stick margarine or butter
1/2 c. milk
2 c. minute oats
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coconut or 1/2 c. broken nutmeats
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and cocoa in a saucepan. Add butter and milk. Bring to a boil.
Boil for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Chill.
Yields 2 1/2 dozen.
