Mom'S Summer Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. hamburger
    1 Tbsp. Tender Quick Morton salt (for curing)
    2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
    1 tsp. hickory salt
    1 tsp. liquid smoke
Preparation
    Heat oven to 150\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients together thoroughly on the first day.
    Refrigerate.
    Remix on second day.
    Refrigerate. Remix on the third day.
    Shape into 6 (4 to 5 ounce) rolls and refrigerate.
    On the fourth day, place on cookie sheet and bake in a 150\u00b0 oven for 4 hours and turn on other side.
    Cook for another 4 hours.
    Cool 2 to 3 hours then wrap individually into regular Reynolds Wrap.
    Freeze to eat later or refrigerate to eat now. Serve cold slices as an appetizer or snack.
