Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pt. strawberries
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
2 (9-inch) baked pie shells
Preparation

In saucepan, combine sugar, salt and cornstarch.
Add cold water; cook over medium heat until mixture is clear and thick, stirring constantly.
Remove from stove.
Add Jell-O, stirring until Jell-O is dissolved.
Add vanilla.
Let cool.
Clean and slice strawberries.
Add to Jell-O mixture.
Pour into pie shell. Let set in refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
