Snickers Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    1 stick margarine
    1/3 c. milk
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1 c. walnuts or pecans
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix cake as directed on box.
    Pour 1/2 of batter into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Melt caramels with margarine and milk; pour over baked cake.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over caramels.
    Pour remaining cake batter on top of chocolate chips and nuts.
    Bake 20 more minutes at 250\u00b0, then for 10 more minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Let cool completely before cutting.
