German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon, cut into pieces
    1 small onion, sliced and halved
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. water
    2 boiled eggs
    6 to 8 medium potatoes, sliced and boiled
Preparation
    Fry bacon and onion until crisp.
    Add flour; stir well.
    Add remaining ingredients, except potatoes and eggs.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Pour over hot, sliced boiled potatoes.
    Add 2 sliced boiled eggs.
    Serve warm.
    Can prepare a day ahead.
