1 c. margarine, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugars.
Beat in the egg and extracts.
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually add to cream mixture.
Stir in pecans. Roll into 1-inch balls; place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 9 to 11 minutes or until set.
Cool for 3 minutes before removing to wire racks.
Yield:
about 6 1/2 dozen.
