Linguine And Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. box linguine
    1/3 c. olive oil
    1/2 stick butter
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    4 cans minced clams (6 1/2 oz. each)
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    grated Romano cheese
Preparation
    In a large pot of boiling water, cook linguine until tender. In small saucepan, heat oil and butter until butter melts.
    Add garlic; cook until golden.
    Stir in clams with their liquid, oregano, pepper and parsley.
    Cook until heated (5 minutes). Drain linguine; return to pot.
    Add sauce.
    Toss and serve with Romano.
    Serves 4.
