Chicken Marengoeverton, Missouri - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lbs. chicken, cut up
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 can Mushroom soup
    1 can Tomato soup
    1 medium clove garlic
    1 lb. small white onions
Preparation
    In large skillet, brown chicken in oil.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cover, simmer 45 minutes or until tender.
    Stir occasionally.
    Uncover, cook to desired consistency.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
    Serves 6.
