Cream Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. breakfast cream
    1 Tbsp. light Karo corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cook over slow fire, sugar, flour, cream and syrup until soft-ball stage.
    Stir only until sugar is thoroughly dissolved. Remove from fire.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Let stand a few minutes, then beat with mixer until thick and creamy using high speed.
    Pour into a buttered dish.
    Cut into 30 pieces while still warm.
    Pecans may be added if desired.
