Banana Holiday Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. raisins
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1 c. diced, mixed candied fruit
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 3/4 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat.
Stir in candied fruit, raisins and nuts.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with bananas.
Turn into 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool before slicing.
