Fettuccine With Veggies And Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. fettuccine (uncooked)
    1/4 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, cauliflower and carrots
    1 c. skim milk
    1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
    8 (3/4 oz.) sliced smoked cured ham, cut in squares
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook fettuccine according to package directions, omitting salt; drain.
    Place in a large bowl and keep warm.
    Bring water to a boil.
    Add veggies; cook, uncovered, until veggies are crisp-tender, about 3 minutes.
    Drain; set aside and keep warm.
