Spirited Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 egg
1 1/4 c. (14 oz. can) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
2 c. pecan halves
1 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Melt butter in 9 x 9-inch baking pan in oven while preheated to 350\u00b0.
Remove from oven; stir in graham cracker crumbs.
Press onto bottom of pan.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until deep golden brown.
Beat egg lightly in medium bowl; stir in sweetened condensed milk and maple flavoring.
Stir in pecans and coconut. Pour pecan filling over hot crust; spread evenly.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until center is set.
Cool completely in pan or on wire rack.
Cut into 2 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch bars.
Makes about 1 1/2 dozen bars.
