Carrot Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 heaping c. grated carrots
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    peas (optional)
Preparation
    Add and mix all ingredients except peas. Put in a ring mold. Set mold in a medium pan with a little water. Put green peas or other green vegetables of your choice in the middle. Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
