Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt
1 c. chopped pecans
3 c. uncooked oatmeal

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Beat well. Combine flour, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.
Add to creamed mixture, a small amount at a time.
Add nuts and oatmeal. Mix well.
