Spanish Steak And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. instant Spanish rice
    1 1/2 lb. beef cubed steaks
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 medium green pepper
    1/4 c. hot-style catsup
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cut steaks into 1 1/2-inch strips.
    Cut green pepper into strips.
    Prepare rice mix according to package.
    In a large skillet, brown half the meat at a time in hot oil.
    Return all meat to pan.
    Add pepper.
    In screw-top jar, mix catsup, cornstarch, sugar, 1 cup cold water and 1 teaspoon of salt.
    Shake to blend; add to skillet.
    Cook and stir until mixture bubbles. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes.
    Stir in hot rice; heat through.
