Feather Beds (Rolls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large potato, peeled and cut into chunks
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter, cut up
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 egg
    3 1/4 to 3 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Cook potato in water until tender.
    Drain and reserve 3/4 cup mashed potato (set aside 1/2 cup).
